Michael Allon, M.D. will be the Study Chair of the Neutrolin Phase 3 program. Dr. Allon was the Principal Investigator of the pilot Neutrolin® study in the United States, and is widely recognized as an expert in hemodialysis vascular access and catheter related bloodstream infections (CRBSI). He was also a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America Working Group on CRBSI, and an author of the practice guidelines.

 

Prabir Roy-Chaudhury, MD, PhD, FASN, KHI

Dr. Roy-Chaudhury is Professor of Medicine and Division Director of Nephrology at the University of Arizona as well as Director of the Arizona Kidney and Vascular Center.

His key research focus is dialysis and vascular access 

Dr. Roy-Chaudhury is Co-Chairman of the ASN's Kidney Health Initiative and a member of ASN's post graduate education committee.

He is the Co-PI on the CorMedix LOCK-IT 100 Clinical Trial with Dr. Allon.

 

Amy Young

Vice President, General Manager, DaVita Clinical Research

 

After receiving a BA in biology with a minor in chemistry, cum laude, from Augsburg College, Amy Young joined DaVita Clinical Research holding posts with increasing responsibilities. Ms. Young has experience in the areas of strategy, leadership, operations, clinical trial conduct, renal patient populations and clinical services. She holds a CCRC from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.

Ms. Flanagan's role is to oversee clinical trial conduct at the Frenova research sites that participate in our clinical research program. 

Including feasibility, project management, monitoring and being a resource for both Frenova and CorMedix

 

Paul Flyer, Ph.D.

Biostatistics and Epidemiology Advisor-Consultant (Chief Statistician)

 

Paul Flyer has more than 25 years of experience in the application of statistical methods. This experience has been obtained while in senior positions at the FDA, in the pharmaceutical industry and as part of a major contract research organization. Dr. Flyer’s primary areas of expertise are 1) developing statistical strategies for product registration, 2) optimizing the use of complicated study findings and 3) developing efficient implementation plans and processes for data collection, processing and analysis (validation and CDISC).

 

Bruce Reidenberg, M.D.

Physician and Clinical Pharmacologist.

 

Bruce Reidenberg, M.D. is Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics, Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai. Dr. Reidenberg received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University.

 

C. Douglas Webb, Ph.D.

Advisor and Consultant in Microbiology (Microbiology and Infectious Disease)

 

C. Douglass Web, Ph.D. is serving or has served as a consultant to numerous companies including BDR Research, Cadence Pharmaceuticals, Pacific Beach Biosciences, Inc., and Replidyne. Previously, Dr. Webb was Senior Medical Director at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Director of Anti-Infectives at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Roerig Division. Dr. Webb is a graduate of Emory University, with a BS in Biology. He earned his MS in Bacteriology and a Ph.D. in Microbiology at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA.

 

Bruce Polsky, M.D., MACP, FIDSA

Bruce Polsky, M.D., serves as the Chairman of the Department of Medicine at the Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. Previously, he was Chairman of the Department of Medicine, Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases, Hospital Epidemiologist and Medical Director of the Clinical Virology Laboratory at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. His post-graduate training in Internal Medicine was at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, followed by a fellowship in infectious diseases at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Cornell University Medical College. Dr. Polsky is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

David Chong, BS, MD

New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Medical Center

 

Dr. Chong advises CorMedix on the prevention of infections and thrombosis in Critical Care settings including trial design for out ICU study.
